More About Our Products
Bio-K+® fermented drinkable probiotics are not yogurts. They're quality probiotics.
Many yogurts are often confused as having the same health benefits as effective probiotic products like ours. Our fermented probiotic drinks differ in several important key ways: bacterial activity, the fermentation process, the amount of live bacteria, and more.
To start, drinkable yogurt products typically feature specific bacteria such as: Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus, which are not probiotics that support a balanced microflora and not found in Bio-K+® probiotic products. Instead, our formulas are designed with three unique probiotic strains: Lactobacillus acidophilus CL1285®, Lactobacillus casei LBC80R® and Lactobacillus rhamnosus CLR2®; these probiotics work synergistically for proven results.
Additionally, drinkable yogurt products that do feature probiotic bacteria typically only add this good bacteria at the end of their fermentation process, which isn't comparable as supporting live, active bacteria growth and fermentation right inside the bottle.
Our fermented probiotic drinks include a researched dosage of good bacteria that help each strain stay alive and release beneficial metabolites throughout the entire fermentation process. By including live bacteria that work together as a team, our probiotic drinks help promote better overall health habits, lifestyle, and diet.
The bottom line is—while yogurts are nutritious, they do not provide the same quality and health benefits as our probiotic drink products.
